Come to Historic Stockyards City, in Oklahoma City, on Saturday, March 19th for the annual St. Patrick’s Parade! It is a celebration of Oklahoma Irish heritage and the western culture of Stockyards City! This family-friendly event begins at 10:00 a.m. You won’t want to miss this!
The parade will be led by the Slash O Ranch Longhorns. You can see St. Patrick, marching bands, bagpipes, Irish dancers, the Shriners, cool cars, community groups, equestrian entries, and much more. This year’s parade will honor local civic leader Pat Downes as the grand marshal.
Admission to the event is free. Come to Stockyards City for the St. Pats fun and stay for the day! Visit the shops, have a great meal, and enjoy the authenticity of the area.
Some fun activities for kids will be held in the lot east of Little Joe’s Boots. There will be balloon art, face painting, and games. Rodeo Cinema will be providing complimentary popcorn and family-friendly St. Patrick’s day movies and toons. Following the parade meet Woody & Jesse from Toy Story in Rodeo’s lobby.
The parade route begins at the intersection of Exchange Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue, it will head west to Agnew Avenue and then go south to S.W. 15th Street.
