Opening Night | New Year’s Eve

Opening Night is a New Year’s Eve celebration with music, dancing, theater and fireworks. Since 1987, Opening Night has been the way to ring in the New Year in downtown Oklahoma City. New for 2021, all performances take place in one location this year – the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Come to Opening Night and enjoy a variety of live music, a mural competition, hands-on activities and a children’s area.
At 11:40pm, a countdown to the finale will begin with a live concert by Adam and Kizzie, a light show and a flyover by police helicopters. The Rising Ball will begin at 11:58, and the countdown begins. At midnight, ring in 2022 with an extravagant fireworks display featuring pyrotechnics and music.
