Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival

Kick off the holiday season and Downtown in December at this year’s Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival! One of the season’s most anticipated events will take place in Bricktown on Thursday, November 17th, 2022, from 5-7 pm on the Mickey Mantle Plaza of the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The festival, which is free and open to everyone, will include family-friendly activities such as photos with Santa Claus, face painting, caricatures, a Magic Elf, and more. Bring your kiddos to the Letters to Santa station sponsored by OG&E and Bank of Oklahoma where they can write and place their letters to Santa in our North Pole mailbox, as well as decorate downtown-themed holiday postcards to take home or mail. The main attraction of the evening will be a showcase of diverse holiday performances leading up to and following the countdown to the lighting of the Christmas tree by Mayor David Holt.

The Bricktown Christmas Tree sponsored by SONIC will be lit at approximately 5:50pm and will be on display through Christmas Day.
