Jason Scott & The High Heat is an Oklahoma City band made up of six members, including: Jason Scott, Gabriel Mor (guitar), Taylor Johnson (guitar, keys), Alberto Roubert (drums), Ryan Magnani (bass), and Garrison Brown (keys). Their sound is described as halfway between amplified Americana and heartland roots rock.
Their first full-length album, “Castle Rock” was released independently in February 2022. The album spent two weeks in the top #50, but it reached the top #36 spot with the help of Angela Backstrom and Rek Room Media.
The band has recently performed at Stagecoach, Born and Raised Fest, Mile 0 Fest, Norman Music Festival, and Woody Fest. While also supporting other bands/artists at venues in many states such as the Eli Young Band and Josh Abbott.

Featuring music by Elizabeth Speegle at 6p.m., Stephen Salewon at 7:20 p.m. prior to Jason Scott & The High Heat’s performance at 8:40 p.m.
The event is free and open to all ages & takes place every third Saturday, March – October. Heard on Hurd is presented by Citizens Bank.
