King Cabbage Brass Band of Tulsa, OK is made up of many hard-working musicians that know how to bring the Nola energy. Band members include: Greg Fallis, Nicholas Foster, Dr. Dave Johnson, Jordan Hehl, Bishop Marsh, Andy McCormick, and Kristin Ruyle. They are Oklahoma’s New Orleans-inspired brass band with a style of an electric blend of pop, R&B, funk, and hip-hop.
Typical performances from King Cabbage Brass Band include renditions of popular hit songs from artists such as Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Outkast, and more.
King Cabbage Brass Band’s mission is “to bring people together through joyful music”. They also “are dedicated to honoring the originators of brass band music, working hard to serve (our) communities, and starting a party in a safe space where all feel welcome.”

Enjoy the evening with the King Cabbage Brass Band on Saturday, July 16, 2022, in Downtown Edmond while enjoying food trucks, supporting local vendors, and downtown eateries and shops. The July Heard on Hurd theme is ‘Christmas in July’! Featuring music by Spaghetti Eddie at 6 p.m., Chloe-Beth at 7:20 p.m. prior to King Cabbage Brass Band’s performance at 8:40 p.m. The event is free and open to all ages & takes place every third Saturday March – October. Heard on Hurd is presented by Citizens Bank.
