Walking Trails & Concerts | Scissortail Park
Scissortail Park is a beloved addition to OKC for all. With countless ways to enjoy the park such as walking (or biking) the 0.9 mile trail, skating at the Sky Rink or attending one of the many FREE concerts on the Great Lawn or Night Market on select FriYays, you’re sure to find something to enjoy this summer. The First Americans Museum is now open in OKC! Visitors can experience the collective histories of 39 distinctive First American Nations in Oklahoma today. First Americans Museum shares the cultural diversity, history, and contributions of the First Americans.

Discover bricktown from a “new perspective” as you cruise along the Bricktown canal! For over 20 years, this entertaining and historically-themed narrated cruise through the heart of downtown Oklahoma City has been a fan favorite. A 40-minute ride filled with great photo ops, memories and fun! Buy your tickets online or at their main landing on the Bricktown canal where boats board every 20-30 minutes. The Art Afloat series we mentioned happens on the water taxis on select Thursdays, too! For Art Afloat, you can buy a cocktail or drink at Bourbon St. Cafe to take on board with you!

Plaza Walls is a curated, rotating mural project in the Plaza District of Oklahoma City! With main mural wall that is larger than a football field, you can see and experience art in a new way. They have transformed a street ally into an art gallery! The goal of the project is to increase public art in the city, create an easy way for artists to paint murals, and to establish the first mural district in the state. While your there, enjoy the local boutiques and restaurants in the Plaza.

FREE Community Yoga | Myriad Gardens
Practicing yoga in the Gardens has the added benefit of connecting with nature. Classes are open to all levels; beginner-experienced yogi. Classes are offered EVERY Tuesdays @ 6pm & Saturdays @ 9am – bring your own mat and water and relieve stress and quiet your mind in the Gardens!

The former Santa Monica pier ferris wheel found its new home in OKC in 2016. Since then, it has become a landmark just south of the Oklahoma River as the Wheeler District it is within is constantly growing, as well. Arcadia Lake, located in Edmond, is the perfect escape into nature. The Arcadia Lake Trail is a 12.6 mi long multi-use trail so it allows you to experience it your way.
