The Plaza District, located on 16th street in Oklahoma City is home to many restaurants, retail shops, galleries, performance studios, bars and more! The Plaza District got its name from the historic Plaza Theatre that was built in 1935, and the district continues to grow and thrive more and more each year. Mexican Radio

Mexican Radio is a vibrant and fun eatery featuring their non-denominational tacos. They have a wide variety of menu selections with everything ranging from tacos, empanadas, salads desserts and more. I, Sarah, celebrated my 21st birthday there; and cannot say enough good things about their cocktails. My personal favorite was the frozen Dole Whip; 10/10 recommend!

Pie Junkie

Pie Junkie is owned by Darcy Schein and Leslie Coale-Mossman, two (former) stay-at-home moms whose love for cooking grew into a ‘local sensation’. By word of mouth advertising and delicious pies being eaten around the community, they created ‘Pie Junkie’ in 2011 and soon after in 2013, they found their home in the Plaza. They serve a variety of different pie flavors, and they can be bought by the slice, or whole in their store or pre-order. We highly recommend Pie Junkie for your next gathering or for just a comforting treat.

The Press

The Press offers brunch, lunch, dinner, bar service and everything else in between. The calm- yet fun environment within this restaurant makes it the perfect destination for everyone. They are known for their ‘comfort’ style foods that have familiar, yet unique southwest flavors. This is a must-go place and I highly recommend their chicken sandwich and mimosas!

New State Burgers

A ‘vibing’ burger restaurant that is “for the people”. They offer vegetarian and plant-based menu options as well as salads and dessert. Featuring a full bar; because what is better than burgers and beer!? Check it out for your next dinner out!

Neon Coffee Bar

Neon, is a bright coffee shop that brings all the fun to the heart of the Plaza. Offering coffee, special drinks, donuts, lunch, a bar and more. They also run many specials throughout the week such as Happy Hours including $2 donuts and $1 drip coffee. Sit on the patio or inside the glowing shop any day of the week!
