Ah, there’s nothing quite like a makeover… and since “Renew in ’22” is the big buzz phrase going around, we wanted to share a cool makeover by our MVP Shay Wood, owner of Wood Insurance Agency in Bethany on the building she purchased this fall located on N.W. 23rd St.

BEFORE: you know, your basic brown out, traditional building. Exterior needed some TLC, and Shay loved the idea of brightening it up with white brick and black shutters for a more modern and sophisticated look.

BEFORE INSIDE: The space had nice bones and enough offices for her new staff, but the red accent walls were dated and the old carpets needed a refresh.

No more red, outdated carpets, or white boards.  Click her for a quick video tour:  IMG_1212

AFTER: Clean walls, neutral palette, blue chairs throughout the space.

Buh-bye, bulletin boards!

Lobby mid-transition – floors were done, front desk painted, but walls not yet re-painted.
Ah, that’s fresher! Exterior painted, but still awaiting landscaping…

Notes from Shay:
The exterior paint color is Sherwin Williams Snowbound and the black is SW Tricorn Black
The carpet in the offices was replaced with carpet tiles, the carpet in the main area was replaced with luxury vinyl.
We painted all interior with light colors. The main area was painted with SW Aloof Gray and the offices were painted with SW City Loft.
All light fixtures were replaced and bulletin boards that were attached to the wall were taken down.
We also replaced the old blinds with modern shades.
We did get new office furniture in all the offices, did so much cleaning, and overall just freshened the place up!
Most of the work was completed by Jhonny Espinoza with Meteorite Remodeling and his crew. The Carpet and shades were installed by Red River Carpet & Tile. Huge thank you to them!
