What better way to get in the Christmas spirit than to grab a hot chocolate and go look at Christmas lights around the metro with friends and family?! There are many districts and local parks that are full of beautiful twinkling lights for the whole family to enjoy. We are featuring 5 light shows, but of course make sure to also visit local restaurants and shops to check out their holiday decor, too!
Luminance ‘An Enchanted Stroll’ | Edmond

Luminance, An Enchanted stroll began in 2017 and is back this year for a light show like you’ve never seen before! This is a one-of a kind experience, at Edmond’s beautiful Mitch park, is suitable for the whole family, even your dogs! (Mitch park is a leashed- dog friendly park)
An Enchanted Stroll has already begun in Edmond and will go through January 2, 2022. The lights are viewable on Monday – Sunday from 5p – 10p.
This is a free event and is a self-guided walk through stroll.
Christmas in the Park | Yukon
2200 S Holly Ave, Yukon, OK 73099
This premier attraction has stolen the hearts and caught the eyes of many visitors over the years of their bright light displays. Christmas in the park is along 100 acres (3 interconnected parks) featuring 4.5 million lights and 425 lighted displays. This large holiday attraction is also knowns as a “magical wonderland of visual entertainment”.
You can choose to either walk through the park, or drive along and enjoy the lights. The tour starts in Yukon City Park, winds through Freedom Trail, then concludes Chisholm Trail Park.
Christmas in the park is open 6-10pm nightly until new years eve.
Admission is free. Donations are accepted at both the Chisholm Trail Park exit and the City Park exit. (Santa will appearances Friday and Saturday evenings.)
Holiday Lights Spectacular | Midwest City
Joe B. Barnes Regional Park; 8700 E Reno Ave, Midwest City, OK 73130
The Holiday Lights Spectacular is a family tradition that began in 1995 with 44 lit up displays and has now transformed into one of the largest animated light displays within the region. Located within the Joe B. Barnes Regional Park, this holiday spectacular event features over 1 million lights, a 118 ft. tall Christmas tree, a tunnel of lights and more.
The light show begins on December 2 and goes until the end of Christmas night. See the lights: Sunday through Thursday 6-10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 6-11 p.m. and Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 6-11 p.m.
This is a free drive-through event.
Safari Lights | OKC Zoo
2000 Remington Pl, Oklahoma City, OK 73111
The OKC Zoo is offering the experience to ‘get wild’ this Holiday season by visiting their Safari Lights that features the love of wildlife and light. They create the full experience with 59+ wildlife theme light sculptures, treats, activities and more.
The light show has already begun and will go until January 6. Presented nightly from 5:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
The OKC Zoo Safari Lights can be enjoyed within a drive-thru experience or a walk-thru experience.
(Online reservations are required for OKC ZOO SAFARI LIGHTS. No drive-up purchases)
Drive-Thru Admission – $50 per vehicle for ZOOfriends members / $60 per vehicle for non-members. See majority of the lanterns on the drive-thru course then re-enter the zoo for the walk-thru experience. Buy: ‘Drive Thru (+ 4 walking wristbands) Tickets’ HERE
Walk-Thru Only Admission – $10 per person ages 3 and up for ZOOfriends members / $12 per person ages 3 and up for non-members. Lights on Broadway | Automobile Alley
Visit the historic Automobile Alley for holiday open house’s and beautiful displays of beaming lights. The Lights on Broadway event will take place on December 4th and December 11th for the remainder of the holiday season. On these Saturdays from 4-7pm there will be exciting promotions, giveaways, pop-ups and more for the whole family. Santa will also be making an appearance in a snow globe in the parking lot of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation (1000 N Broadway Ave)
Free carriage rides will be returning and are now available to book online! Sign up in advance; space is limited.
