We’ve curated six different locally owned restaurants guaranteed to serve the tacos and Mexican fare dreams are made of compiled from our Yay Dude MVPs and team. On Tracy Morris’s list of honorable mentions when it comes to great Mexican food is Los Arcos. In her own words described their taco plate as “legit”. Los Arcos has many locations around the state and has been a fan favorite for many years. Enjoy their taco plate with a cold-refreshing margarita.

Be sure to check out authentic, locally owned, OKC favorite, San Marcos. With four OKC locations, their food is a representation of traditions and values. Beyond tacos, you’ll find an impressive burrito menu like the Burrito Norteno made with carne asada.

Cantaritos | Edmond

I, Sarah, am a huge fan of Cantaritos restaurant in Edmond! I have been dining here for about a year now, and have never been disappointed with any food or service. With five different options when it comes to their authentic street tacos, starting at $2 each, it’s great on a college budget. However, I cannot go here without ordering their white queso dip. All paired with a classic lime margarita, of course.

Cantaritos has great-affordable pricing and a comfortable atmosphere. They also frequently offer many specialties on food and drinks, which is always a plus. I will always recommend this place to anyone.
