What happens when you put a little glam into camping? You get glamping, which is all the rage now, thanks to a certain pandemic pushing us to the safer outdoors, on the road, and desperately trying to hold onto our sanity. Nature is good for that. But without all the heat, mosquitoes, and sleeping bag on the earth ickiness, thankyouverymuch.
Enter Brittny Cuff, who left her marketing career in Florida to live in an RV for two years with her husband – so the outdoor living consultant definitely walks the talk.
Brittny owns Glamp Your Grounds as well as Glamp Magazine, which is full of gorgeous views, tips, and places for your next glamping adventure.
What happens when two nature lover strangers who happen to have similar personality types meet? Collaboration! Brittny was a vendor at our Chicks in Charge Boho girl night out event this summer and I immediately knew we had to be friends. Her beautiful tents, creativity, passion for the outdoors, and knowledge of marketing is a gift to Oklahoma because Brittny and her husband have become the new managers at Red Rock Canyon Adventure Park located in Hinton, OK (about an hour west of Oklahoma City.)
I’ve hiked and even tent camped (like uncomfortable on the ground, no A/C camped!) at Red Rock Canyon twice in the last decade so I can vouch for the beauty of the place and the natural surroundings. I knew with a little TLC, it could be something incredible. That something is happening!
Which leads us to that collaboration. Yay Dude and Chicks in Charge are thrilled to partner with Glamp Your Grounds to host an Unplugged Women’s Retreat on August 28th and 29th. Deets on the flyers below for the sake of SEO: guided hike with local historian, chick flick under the stars, luxury picnic, private pool party, yoga, and plenty of R&R, and connection with other women who will not have their faces in their phones!
While this event is a women’s retreat, Red Rock CanyonAdventure Park welcomes you to overnight glamp with them via their booking site other weekends and will be hosting many other music festivals, rock climbing/rappeling, movies in the park, and day adventures, so give them a follow to stay up to date.
Ladies, we hope you’ll join us! Yes, the tents will have air conditioning.
