Jabee Headlines Heard on Hurd July 17

Oklahoma City native, hip hop artist, actor and Emmy award winner — Jabee, is set to perform at the upcoming Heard on Hurd street festival on July 17. Heard on Hurd is presented by Citizens Bank of Edmond and is located in downtown Edmond.

Rapper Jabee’s music has inspired people all over the world. He has released three full albums, mixtapes and tracks and most recent album, “Black Future,” reached the #25 spot on iTunes. He has sold out crowds in Oklahoma City and has performed at Kevin Durant’s celebrity basketball game and Russell Westbrook’s celebrity comedy show. Jabee has also explored and toured all over Europe with Swedish hip-hop group Looptroop Rockers.

In 2014, his collaboration with Funnel Design Group for a commercial for the Oklahoma Science Museum won an Emmy Award. The video award was given for commercial writing and performance. Watch the Emmy award-winning commercial here!

Be inspired and enjoy the evening with Jabee on Saturday, July 17 in Downtown Edmond while enjoying food trucks, supporting local vendors and downtown eateries and shops and music by The True CW at 6 p.m., Alysee at 7:20p prior to Jabee’s performance. The event is free and open to all ages and takes place the third Saturday through October.
